Beautiful Bugs…by Molly Mahon

This month we sent out the first of our ‘In the Art Room’ series where we interview creative parents on how their upbringing and education shaped the creative individuals they are today. This also includes tips on how they themselves inject creativity into their own children’s daily lives.

Our first interview is with the incredibly inspiring Molly Mahon. Together with her son they each made some gorgeous recycled bugs inspired by our Beautiful Bugs box projects. It was especially lovely for us to see Molly’s wood block paper being used to collage a stunning butterfly landing in the ferns, as well as beetle being sniffed by the family dog!
