Under the Sea Art Box
In this box we are going to examine how a variety of artists look at water and the ocean – be it under the surface, at the diversity of fish, sea creatures and coral reefs; or on the surface, at the tides and the waves with their ever-flowing ripples. We will also look at the idea of “maritime art” where artists examine how humans interact with water, be it by swimming, in boats or by helping to conserve our oceans and its wildlife for future generations.
What is the Under the Sea Box?

Water has long been a universal image of change; it is forever flowing and it can follow any course. Stand with your imagination beside an ocean’s edge and you never know where you will be taken…

- A booklet introducing the theme, with information about artists, art styles and techniques.
- Clear instructions on seven art projects, appropriate for children of any age (4+ years), with tips to tailor each project for Little Ones.
- Includes LoLA book recommendations for further reading.
- Plenty of quality art materials for your child.
What art materials will I receive?
This box includes a set of colourful inks, a pipette, a paintbrush, coloured papers, PVA glue, water-colour paper, black card and foam clay.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS BOX INCLUDES INK WHICH CAN STAIN. NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN

When will my box be delivered?
