Enchanted Forests Art Box
The art projects in this box investigate the trees and forests created by three great artists from around the world: Britain’s David Hockney with his wonderful colourful woods; the Austrian Gustav Klimt and his famous golden tree of life; and China’s Ai Weiwei‘s reconstructed trees – sculptures made from the branches and roots of various different species.

What is inside the Enchanted Forest Box?
Forests have featured in folklore for thousands of years. They are places that contain enchanting things alongside sometimes scary things – places where friendly fairies live alongside wicked witches. Forests too are places that help reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being.
This art box explores trees and forests through the eyes of different artists, with magical projects using gold leaf, metallic pen and glitter glue tubes. Why not draw your own watery colourful wood picture, create an intricate golden tree shimmering with gems and gold leaf , or even make a paper bag sculpture of an old gnarly oak? This box also includes a fun extra project where you can decorate your very own wood fairy door!
