Recommendation: Sharing Hot Chocolates

Why not sip a delicious hot chocolate this half term with your kids…? Here are some of our favourites!

Ruby Violet

Ruby Violet has two parlours, one in Kings Cross and one in Tufnell Park – at both they offer a choice of two delicious and wonderfully indulgent hot chocolates:

The Long & Frothy: A shot of hot chocolate with hot steamed milk on the side

The Small & Intense: shot of dairy-free hot chocolate, served with nut brittle on the side..

Dominique Ansel

Based in Belgravia/Victoria, Dominique Ansel serves delicious hot chocolates, and is also the home of the February Cronut: The Cronut® (croissant/donut hybrid) is a unique creation by Chef Dominique Ansel, named the World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2017.

Hotel Chocolate

It’s all in the name really! Beware though, the classic, smooth hot chocolate is made with authentic 70% dark chocolate – the perfect chocolate drink for those who do not like it too sweet, but instead prefer a real chocolaty taste! If drinking chocolate isn’t your fancy, there is also a HUGE choice and variety of other chocolate nibbles here too!

With stores all over the UK. we absolutely LOVE Paul’s thick and velvety hot chocolate! Their rich and creamy chocolate treat is as close to an authentic chocolat chaud served up in a Parisian tea room as you can get!
